Lions Congratulate Mamaroneck High – The Keith D. Yizar Memorial Tournament Winner

On Saturday, December 16, host Mamaroneck High School won the two-day Keith D. Yizar Memorial Basketball Tournament, with a win over Ardsley High School. The final score was 65 to 63. It followed a play-in victory vs. Spring Valley High School on Friday.

In the earlier girls’ tournament championship game, the Mamaroneck girls varsity team beat Port Chester 59 to 46.

The tournament, in its 3rd year, is named after Keith D. Yizar. Keith was a past MHS Basketball player and a long-time active supporter of MHS sports and Mamaroneck community interests.

The presentation of the Tournament team and individual trophies were sponsored by the Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Club.

The LM Lions are celebrating their 100th Anniversary, to be recognized at their January 28th, Centennial Points of Light event at Mamaroneck’s Orienta Beach Club.
