From Near and Far: Celebrating Birds Across the Americas

This exhibit showcases some of the most photogenic bird species in a selection of bird photographs captured by Bedford Audubon members throughout the Americas. Beyond the birds seen locally, both year-round residents and migratory species, there is a vast array of fascinating bird species we never experience here in New York – almost 11,000 species globally! Henna Workshop

Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to learn the art of henna painting. For centuries, henna painting on the body has been practiced in India, Africa, and the Middle East, where the henna plant is believed to bring love and good fortune. The henna used is all natural, made from henna, lemon juice and essential oils. Everyone will go home with a henna tattoo. With proper care a henna stain can last two to three weeks. Teodosia: An Alt-Valentine Oratorio

Movie of the Month: Wicked: For Good

The epic conclusion to the untold story of the witches of Oz. Elphaba and Glinda are now estranged, each living with the consequences of their choices. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now demonized as The Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, continuing her fight to expose The Wizard. Meanwhile, Glinda (Ariana Grande) has become a glamorous symbol of Goodness, basking in the perks of fame and popularity. As the angry citizens of Oz rise up against the Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba must reunite and truly see each other—if they are to change themselves, and all of Oz.
