Firefighter Murnane served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps from 2012-2016, where he was stationed on Camp Lejeune, NC. He served one tour in Afghanistan as a combat engineer in a route clearance platoon. Upon his return in 2016 he began working construction installing, maintaining and servicing fire protection sprinkler systems.

Although he enjoyed construction, Firefighter Murnane missed the camaraderie and brotherhood he had in the marine corps, which is what he found when he joined the ranks of the Larchmont Professional Fire Fighters in August of 2020. When he isn’t serving the Larchmont community Firefighter Murnane enjoys boating, golf and spending time with friends and family.
