A Miracle On 34th Street in Larchmont
The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Club and its partners presented a live audio theater recreation of the 1949 Lux Radio Theater’s version of the Holiday Classic movie Miracle On 34th Street. The production took place before a live audience on December 21 at the Larchmont Village Center. The event also included the Christmas episode of the TV sitcom Ozzie & Harriet, including Ricky Nelson singing The Christmas Song.
The production was led by Jason Summers and the Sandbox Theatre. The audience and performers featured professional, blind, disabled and local school theater students.
A Miracle on 34th Street was co-sponsored by the Larchmont Library, the Sandbox Theatre, SPERDVAC (The Society for the Preservation of Radio Drama, Variety and Comedy), The Westchester Council for the Blind, LMC Media and the Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Club.
