LMC Media, the vibrant community media center dedicated to fostering local engagement and storytelling, has announced that its Annual Gala will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the historic Mamaroneck Cinemas. The Gala will celebrate and pay tribute to the collective efforts that strengthen our community spirit.

This year’s Gala will honor Murphy Brothers Contracting, a distinguished local construction firm renowned throughout the greater Westchester, lower Hudson Valley, and southern Fairfield regions. Celebrated for its exquisite craftsmanship and unwavering commitment to quality, Murphy Brothers Contracting has earned acclaim for its exceptional residential and commercial projects. In 2024, Murphy Brothers completed construction on LMC Media’s new “Studio on the Avenue,” a state-of-the-art video and podcast studio located in the heart of downtown Mamaroneck. “I believe that the success of Murphy Brothers is rooted in teamwork,” said Chris Murphy, Co-Founder of Murphy Brothers Contracting. “I’m sure you’ve all seen the new Studio on the Avenue. That’s teamwork at its best. Murphy Brothers was honored to be a part of that project and to be honored by LMC Media at the 40th Gala.” 

Murphy Brothers Contracting stands out not only for superior quality but also for its unparalleled community support. Brothers Chris and Sean Murphy founded the company in their hometown of Mamaroneck in 1979. “Murphy Brothers and LMC Media share a common thread in that we are both ‘Larchmont Mamaroneck community’ homegrown,” said Sean Murphy, Co-Founder of Murphy Brothers Contracting. “We started our business here. LMC Media started in Mamaroneck High School (MHS). Chris and I graduated from MHS. Four decades later, we both call this community ‘home.’ And what a great home it is, and what a great honor to be recognized by this first-class organization.” 

The Annual Gala is an opportunity for the community to celebrate and acknowledge the remarkable achievements of LMC Media and Murphy Brothers Contracting. Attendees can look forward to an evening of festivities, including several short films, guest appearances, and a special awards presentation. The event will conclude with a cocktail reception.
