30 Years of Witnessing Change: A Conversation with NBC News’ Kate Snow
Join At Home on the Sound for a talk with Kate Snow, the Anchor of NBC Nightly News Sunday and the Anchor of NBC News Daily, on Friday, September 8, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s Church, Fountain Square, Larchmont. Snow is also an award-winning Senior National Correspondent for NBC News and currently contributes regularly to Nightly News with Lester Holt, TODAY, and Dateline NBC.
Snow has covered politics throughout her career, including six presidential elections, the White House, and Congress. She is perhaps best known for insightful stories that make an impact and shine a light on issues that don’t get enough attention. Over three decades, she has tackled issues around mental health, substance use, domestic violence, sexual assault, and the welfare of children.
Prior to joining NBC News in 2010, Snow served as Anchor of the weekend edition of ABC’s Good Morning America, as a White House correspondent for ABC News, and as a Correspondent for CNN.
Snow is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She works closely with many charitable organizations and is on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC.
