Scene from the musical Beautiful

White Plains Performing Arts Center's 2023-2024 Mainstage Season

The idea of having to travel to NYC to get a professional quality musical is a thing of the past for Westchester residents with White Plains Performing Arts Center’s 2023-2024 Mainstage Season transforming Westchester into a Broadway musical haven.

As the winner of the “Best of Westchester Award” for Best Professional Theatre since 2021, WPPAC’s critically acclaimed mainstage productions, now in their 20th year, feature top-quality performers and creative teams from Broadway & National tours, a live professional orchestra, and beautiful sets and costumes that give audiences the full experience. This season includes three hit musicals.

First up from the creator of Hamilton, comes the Tony Award Winning Best Musical In the Heights, on stage October 6-22, which tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights!

Next, just in time for the holiday season, from December 15-January 7, is Anatasia. From the Tony Award-winning creators of Ragtime, comes this dazzling musical based on the beloved 1997 animated movie, including the classic songs “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December.” It’s a perfect show for the whole family.

Finally, to close out the 23/24 season, making its Westchester Premiere, is Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, on-stage April- May. From the chart-topping hits she wrote for the biggest acts in music to her own life-changing, trailblazing success with Tapestry, Beautiful takes you back to where it all began and takes you on the ride of a lifetime with the songs you came to love.

In addition to their mainstage productions, the nonprofit venue has a host of great

one-night-only concerts, comedians and provides rental space to other local organizations.

Tickets and Subscription packages where you can save up to 20% off are on sale now making it the perfect venue to take in professional theatre at a fraction of the price. They also are a great location for a school or group trip and even to celebrate a special occasion! WPPAC is located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains.
