Elementary STEM Learning Labs Teach Students about Engineering Design Process

The launch of the Mamaroneck Elementary STEM program is off to a fabulous start! Murray Ave. School’s gr 2-5 students successfully completed their first cycle of projects, and the lab at Chatsworth Ave. School is now officially open.

Chatsworth students are learning all about the STEM components and the engineering design process. Students at Mamaroneck Avenue School and Central are continuing to enjoy their two-day introductory experiences with Ms. Diehl. Mrs. Scotto and Ms. Diehl are working together on planning the next cycle of projects and challenges using equipment purchased with funding from the Mamaroneck Schools Foundation.
