St. John’s Christmas Bazaar Returns

On Saturday, November 19th the St. John’s Episcopal Church Christmas Bazaar, a long-standing community tradition, will be back and open to the community once again. Proceeds from the annual Christmas Bazaar, which is organized by the women of St. John’s, benefit local charities that serve women and children in need.
Outreach Grants made by the ECW to approximately 15 local not-for-profit organizations have generally totaled around $20-25,000. Past recipients have included the Don Bosco Community Center, Community Resource Center, Neighbors for Refugees, Mamaroneck Larchmont Student Aid Fund, STEM Alliance Co-op Camp, the Sharing Shelf Teen Boutique, Providence House, and the Boys and Girls Club of New Rochelle.
After two years of holding a much smaller-scale Christmas Market only for parishioners and friends, St. John’s ECW (Episcopal Church Women) is looking forward to welcoming the community back for this festive event this year! There will be local music groups providing entertainment and the Walter’s Hotdogs Truck will be on site 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.
St. John’s Christmas Bazaar will offer a wide variety of items for sale, including collectibles, handcrafts, holiday décor, jewelry, gently used toys and sports equipment, and delectable sweet and savory treats. (Unfortunately, there will be no White Elephant this year due to space limitations as St. John’s is still rebuilding from Ida flood damages.)
The Bazaar will also have an Online Silent Auction, running November 13-19, with sought after items such as tickets to popular sporting events and week-end getaways plus one-of-a-kind treasures and experiences. Online bidding will also be available onsite.
Get an early start on your holiday shopping, experience a festive community gathering and feel good knowing that you are helping others. It’s a fun event for the whole family!
