Design Gives Back Club Donates to
Mamaroneck Counseling Center

Sydney Ruthazer, President and founder of the club Design Gives Back (DGB) at Mamaroneck High School, has launched her first thrift shop at the school for all High School students.

During the past couple of years,  the pandemic has brought so much hardship to local families, and has taken a toll on the community regarding mental health. Sydney a sophomore,  wanted to combine her love of fashion/design and her desire to help, to give back to her community. This is how DGB was born.

Sydney along with her Vice President, Kennedy Reagins and her club members,  held a clothing drive in March, and the thrift shop opened, May 16 and continued through the 20th. 100% profits were donated to the Mamaroneck Counseling Center.
