Local Resident Publishes Book on
Growing up in the Bronx

Robert Blaufarb, a Larchmont resident for 30 years, has just published a book called My Bronx, My Oz. He has written twenty short stories about growing up in the Bronx in the 1940s, 50s, and 60’s. The stories are poignant, happy, sad, all told through a childhood eye.
The author has served the local community as firefighter captain E-37 TMFD, coached the Mamaroneck High School Baseball Team, serve on the Town of Mamaroneck Traffic committee, given speeches about health at the Larchmont Public Library and The Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department as the Director of Health and Wellness.
