“People, Places, and Things” by Watercolor Painter
Ed Jacobson Exhibits in The Oresman Gallery

Ed Jacobson will be displaying his watercolor works titled “People, Places, and Things” in the Oresman Gallery at the Larchmont Public Library for the month of April. Ed is a Harvard graduate Architect with a residential practice in Westchester County. Fifteen years ago, he realized a long standing “itch” to take up painting by enrolling in a watercolor painting course taught by Hope Friedland at the Larchmont- Mamaroneck Continuing Education program.

Ed has been a member of and has won numerous awards in the New Rochelle and Scarsdale Art Association shows. He paints from photographs taken anywhere, at any time, of scenes that present a challenge in their complexity, composition, or color. Ed’s paintings include a wide range of subjects, but he prefers to paint scenes including people because of the sense of humanity that they bring to the work.

The Larchmont Public Library is located at 121 Larchmont Avenue. For more information call 914-834-2281.
