Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 8:59 PM: A Kane Avenue resident told police that three deliveries of Johnny Walker whiskey sent to her home were picked up by an unknown person. 


Thursday, July 23, 2026, 3:40 PM: A Pryer Lane woman reported that her Lululemon fanny pack, Apple AirPods, and car and house keys were stolen from the unlocked 2021 Toyota Highlander parked in her driveway.


Friday, July 24, 2026, 11:39 AM: Police issued a summons to a driver who turned right at a red light on Boston Post Road despite a “No Right Turn on Red” sign.


Friday, July 24, 2026, 11:49 PM: A Soundview Drive resident told police that while he was in his basement, he heard loud pounding on his front door. When he went to the door, he saw about 15 teens standing across the street. He began to chase them down Mayhew Avenue until they scattered.


Saturday, July 25, 2026, 3:42 PM: A resident of Larchmont Avenue told police that her $15,000 diamond solitaire engagement ring and $1,000 platinum wedding band were missing.


Tuesday, July 28, 2026, 11:33 AM: A Larchmont firefighter retrieved a 14-karat gold chain from a bench in Flint Park after a woman reported that the necklace fell beneath the bench and she was unable to retrieve it from the tight space.


Tuesday, July 28, 2026, 12:43 PM: A man who lives on Gerlach Place told police that a man in a blue pick-up truck stole his $600 Liv bicycle from the yard.


Monday, July 27, 2026, 8:22 PM: Three men were charged with attempting to steal a Hover 1 e-bike from Municipal Lot 3 at the Larchmont Metro-North train station after police saw them use a rock to try to break the bike’s lock.


Thursday, July 30, 2026, 7:42 AM: Police closed the gates to the tunnel at the Larchmont Metro-North train station after observing the brick entryway ceiling had collapsed.


Friday, July 31, 2026, 2:10 PM: A man driving a 2012 Chevrolet pick-up truck on Palmer Avenue told police that he was a victim of road rage. After he turned into the parking lot of DeCicco & Sons supermarket, the driver behind him followed him, shouted that he didn’t properly use his turn signal and threatened to beat him up. While the man was in DeCicco’s, the driver was seen by store patrons using a key to scratch the pick-up truck and unscrewing the gas tank cap and leaving it open.


Sunday, August 2, 2026, 1:20 PM: Police ticketed a Larchmont man after observing him drive on Boston Post Road using a cell phone.


Sunday, August 2, 2026, 2:36 PM: A man on a moped drove into a parking lot on Larchmont Avenue to evade a traffic stop, but hit the front bumper of a police car that followed him. The man then fled from the scene to avoid arrest.


Sunday, August 2, 2026, 5:43 PM: Police gave a Larchmont driver a verbal warning after observing her make a U-turn on Chatsworth Avenue.


Monday, August 3, 2026, 2 PM: A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a home on Gerlach Place. The wallet was later found on the side of the road at Stafford Place, with $100 missing.


Monday, August 3, 2026, 3:27 PM: A resident of Shadow Lane told police that his wallet containing credit cards and $65 cash was stolen from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in his driveway.


Tuesday, August 4, 2026, 8:37 AM: After receiving a report that an older vehicle parked near the Willow Avenue entrance to the Larchmont Temple had old and damaged license plates, police found the car and determined its license plates were not damaged and the car was properly registered.

Saturday, August 8, 2026, 4:32 PM: A man walking on Larchmont Avenue found a gray purse on a bench in front of La La Taqueria restaurant and turned it in to police for safekeeping.


Monday, August 10, 2026, 10:40 AM: Police issued a summons to a driver who was talking on his cell phone while driving on Boston Post Road. He continued to talk on the phone after police stopped his vehicle.


Tuesday, August 11, 2026, 9:51 AM: A Larchmont Avenue man reported that he received two fraudulent collection letters from Media Collection, for outstanding debts of $4,889.91 and $2,375 for purchases from Home Depot that he did not make.


Tuesday, August 11, 2026, 9:01 PM: A 41-year old member of the Larchmont Yacht Club, 1 Woodbine Avenue, was reported recklessly driving his Ford Bronco and doing donuts in the club’s parking lot.


Thursday, August 13, 2026, 2:48 PM: A woman reported that as she turned into a parking space near One Nail Spa, 2135 Palmer Avenue, another driver honked at her and tried to block her car. When she returned to her car about an hour later, she found a note on the windshield that read, “Dumb bitch. Your car will be totaled by tomorrow god willing!”


Friday, August 14, 2026, 3:58 AM: The Larchmont Fire Department opened the bedroom door for a Vanderburgh Avenue resident who reported she was locked inside.


Saturday, August 15, 2026, 9:58 PM: An Addison Street man called police to report that a letter from his doctor was missing from his night table and he suspected his roommate had taken it. Police searched the man’s bedroom and found the letter in the bottom drawer of the night table. His roommate told police he had never seen the letter and he did not move it.


Sunday, August 16, 2026, 11:11 AM: Police gave a verbal warning to a driver who failed to stop at a red light on Chatsworth Avenue.
