A Local Law amending the Village Code regarding Entertainment and Entertainment Permits require special permits for “Dining and Entertainment Establishments” in Resource Conservation (RC) zones, defining them as eateries with private event space and music. Those establishments must mitigate noise, keeping doors/windows closed during events and are strictly prohibited from outdoor music without specific permits. Indoor, private events must mitigate noise and outdoor amplified noise/music is restricted unless specifically permitted.
The Planning Board or Board of Trustees must hold a public hearing for these special permits.
