Special Meeting to Approve Larchmont Bills Held at Village Hall
A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of Larchmont for the approval of bills was held on August 14 to get a jump on the Budget Plan that begins in the fall. Mayor Sarah Bauer, new Trustee/Finance Committee Liaison Terence Pare, and Trustee Peter Fanelli attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the board approved the payment of healthcare bills, which run over $2 million per year and which Pare noted are the village’s largest expense. Payment was also approved for the cost of remediating the village dams, on which the village has spent almost $10,000. Pare stated that the remediation is progressing, that the dams have to be brought up to code, and that the village is working on that.
